1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Iris, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Iris is operated by Jigsawme, based in India.

2. Description of Service

Iris is a peer-to-peer home and baby monitoring app. It enables real-time video and audio streaming directly between mobile devices using WebRTC. The App provides:

• Camera mode — stream live video and audio from a device
• Viewer mode — watch a live stream on a mobile device or web browser
• Motion detection — receive push notifications when movement is detected
• Room-based connections — use a 6-digit code to connect camera and viewer
• Web PWA viewer — watch streams from any browser, no app required

3. Permitted Use

Iris is intended for personal, lawful home and baby monitoring purposes. You may use it to monitor:

• Your own property (home, office, vehicle)
• Dependents in your care (babies, children, elderly family members)
• Any space where you have the legal right to monitor

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use Iris to:

• Monitor any person without their knowledge or consent, where such consent is required by law
• Conduct surveillance of spaces you do not have the legal right to monitor
• Record or capture video/audio in violation of applicable privacy or wiretapping laws
• Harass, stalk, or spy on any individual
• Attempt to intercept or record other users' streams
• Reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the App or its signaling infrastructure

5. Privacy and Video Streams

Iris uses WebRTC encrypted connections for direct device-to-device streaming. We do not record, store, or have access to your video or audio. You are solely responsible for the content you stream and for complying with all applicable laws regarding recording and monitoring.

6. No Accounts Required

Iris does not require user accounts. Room codes are temporary and session-scoped. You are responsible for keeping your room code private — anyone with your code can view your stream during an active session.

7. Push Notifications

If you enable motion detection notifications, the App will register a push token with our server. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings. We use notifications solely to deliver motion alerts to your own device.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Continuous or error-free operation
• Reliability of push notification delivery
• Stream quality (dependent on local network conditions)

Iris is not a substitute for professional security systems. Do not rely solely on Iris for critical safety monitoring.

9. Service Availability

We strive to keep the signaling server available at all times but do not guarantee uptime. We are not liable for any damages arising from service unavailability or connection failures.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App's signaling infrastructure at our discretion for violations of these Terms.
